Katmandu from the Nepal Collection is a beautiful product.
This carpet is made from New Zealand Wool (Best Wool in the world) with some design elements in the pattern made of Luxcelle which is the fiber that has brilliant sheen.
The Luxcelle fiber is a gorgeous but delicate fiber. It’s sheen it makes the design elements made from Luxcelle “Pop”.
Luxcelle (like most fibers) can attract soil from shoes.
If wet the tips of Luxcelle fiber can yellow so it is best to not get it wet and to clean spots that could occur in the Luxcelle portion of the carpet with a dry clean method.
We offer a topical stain treatment (Nouri-Guard) that was developed for specialty fibers such as Luxcelle. This treatment will allow liquid spills to bead up rather than soaking into the fiber giving a person a couple of minutes to get a clean absorbent cloth or paper towel and place on the liquid spill and absorb the liquid (do not rub).
