Claims Analyst Application in Calhoun, GA

Responsible for entering claims into CAMS. Timely and accurate processing of credits and claims by performing different tasks, Some of the required tasks to complete processing of claims are listed below. There may be additional tasks that are required.

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Receive record and analyze claims pertaining to material, sample and freight. Coordinate claims resolution in accordance with the Nourison policies and warranty.
  • Maintain claim files and provide claims data as required on a monthly and yearly basis.
  • Review and analyze claims data and provide product performance and claims experience to management.
  • Communicate any reoccurring issues to management for review.
  • Coordinate independent inspections of claims. Forward inspection invoices to accounting for payment.
  • Issue return authorizations, credits and prepare and send claim decline/approval letters. Submit replacement order request to customer service. Resolve freight claims. If claim is approved, issue credit accordingly.
  • Work closely with the customer on claim issues. Request additional information that may be needed to resolve the claim. Keep the customer updated on status of claim. Follow up on return authorizations and take proper action to get material back or close the claim.

Minimum requirements:

High School / GED preferred. Read, write, and comprehend English. Computer Experience required. Previous claims experience preferred

Abilities required

Excellent communication skills for coordinating claims with Customer Service, Nourison Sales Force, Dealers and internal customers. AS400, PC and basic office equipment experience is required. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel)
