Can NOT be CLEANED
I purchased this Nourison rug from Carpet Specialist in Louisville, KY a year and half ago for our newly built home and have struggled to clean it ever since. Our carpet store sales associate worked with a Nourison representative to find me a great rug that matched what I was looking for in price and looks. The sales associate was also aware of us having children and a pet so it was important to find something that could be easily cleaned. Unfortunately, this rug has been the opposite. We followed the cleaning instructions on the back of the rug and even simply blotting the area with a white rag and water for a turn the rug yellow. We tried every recommendation from a reputable carpet cleaner and nothing has worked. Not only do the spots not come up but the rug turned yellow in multiple spots. We finally decided to “bite the bullet” and have it professionally dry-cleaned which costs a significant amount of money (on top of already paying a carpet cleaner) and takes up to 3 weeks to receive back. Shockingly, that didn’t help and actually only created more yellow spots that weren’t previously there before. I would not recommend this product to anyone that has kids, pets, or generally plans to clean their rug at all. We will likely have to purchase another rug because it unaffordable to dry-clean every time we need it cleaned and it looks so terrible its embarrassing that guests may perceive it as dirty. We certainly won’t be buying this brand anymore.

Does not wear well!
This is such a beautiful rug and we were so happy to put it in our home. After having it for only a month or two, it has not worn well at all. It is very, very fragile and not at all durable. In addition, it is IMPOSSIBLE to clean.
