My second rug
After purchasing a larger version of the Marana in orange, I was so pleased with it that I decided to order a smaller green rug as an accent. The colors are really quite beautiful. It is hard to tell completely when looking online. Both rugs have rich color without being overbearing or garish. I love the feel of this rug on my feet - it is really a terrific barefoot rug. You often just don't know what the quality will be when you buy online, so I took a chance on one, then ordered the second with confidence.

Attractive and Comfy
This is a welcome addition to our family room. I was uncertain if a green rug would work in that environment, but thankfully it features subtle colors and a pattern that compliments my eclectic decor -- allowing it to shine. It arrived well-wrapped and in perfect condition. Though the corners still curl just a touch, it required less than a day to lay nearly perfectly flat along the edges with no real attention to that. Lay a heavy book on each corner for a day and you should be fine. I have the 5' x 7'6'' model and am very pleased with it.
The quality of the all-wool construction is indicative of really good rug. The 1/2" thick pile varies and is lower in the center of the squares. This feels comfortable underfoot, provides excellent stability, is even relaxing to lay on. It makes a good base to lay yoga mats on and though there is variety in the height of the weave, it doesn't trap debris so much that a vacuum can't easily pick it up. The green color has an overall tone but the shade vary upon closer inspection. It feels durable enough to stand up to daily wear and tear in high-traffic areas, like our family room. The MARANA MNN01 GREEN exudes class and comfort and is a welcome addition to my home.

does this wool rug shed? I have purchased wool rugs before and had a problem with lots of shedding

A characteristic of some new carpet and rugs, frequently misunderstood, is shedding or fluffing. When a newly installed carpet or loose rug is vacuumed, a large amount of fiber may be found in the vacuum. You may become alarmed as there may be a feeling that the carpet is defective; or, the concern may be due to loose fibers which are picked up on the shoes or balls of fiber on the surface of the carpet or rug.
The amount of fiber which is removed during vacuuming will depend upon a variety of factors. The shorter the fiber and the longer the tuft, the greater the number of loose fibers in the yarns. The yarns will the less twist will not hold the loose fibers tightly; therefore they are easier to remove. The more mechanical action which is applied to the carpet pile by the vacuum will, in turn, remove more loose fiber. A deep brushing action produces the maximum removal. The greater the movement of air through the pile, the more fibers which will be picked up in the airstream. The thoroughness with which a carpet it vacuumed will have a big factor on the amount of loose fiber which is removed.
The length of time a carpet or rug will shed will depend upon the amount of loose fiber in the yarns, traffic level, and the type of vacuum used, the vacuuming procedure, and frequency of vacuuming. If the carpet pile is short and an upright vacuum is used industriously several times a week, most of the loose fiber will be removed in the first couple of months. The more thorough the vacuuming, the quicker the loose fibers will be removed
