Beautiful Quality Lamp!!
This lamp came and I was impressed by how well it was packed!! I am so glad it was packed so well as nothing was damaged in shipping. After I unpacked the lamp I loved how beautiful the lamp was in person. It is quality and made really well. If you are on the fence trust me order is because you will love it!!

Upscale looking lamp with good quality at a nice price
After searching for the perfect lamp for my bedside tables, and reading a lot of reviews, I settled on a pair of these black ceramic table lamps from Amazon. The Amazon reviews seemed to indicate this lamp was a cut above most others in this price range, in terms of quality and design/style. I would tend to agree. They look great, they feel solid and the finish seems durable. The only slight issue I found was that the socket, when screwed onto the base, never quite tightens down, but just keeps spinning. This was the case with both lamps I purchased. I was afraid I would strip something if I kept turning, so I stopped. The socket is reasonably secure so it's not a big deal, but that's why I scored only a "good" for Quality.
The 3-way socket was a must-have for me, as I already had two FEIT 3-way LED bulbs that I wanted to re-use in the new lamps. I find the tan colored shade on the black version of this lamp adds a nice warmth to the LED light.
I'd say if you were looking at dropping $200-300 for a lamp at Pottery Barn, have a look at this lamp first. The design/style is comparable and the quality will get you 95% of the way there, for a much better price!
