This indoor/outdoor area rug is perhaps best suited for a patio. It really adds a pop of color to our dark cherry hardwood floors in our family room. The rug is definitely on the thin side. The orange is a bit faded (almost as if it was in a sunny window for months). I actually had to exchange our original purchase for the same replacement rug. It had a really strong "skunk" odor- not the typical chemical, new rug smell. The skunky fume never dissipated. It was foul, so we returned it. The new one seems equally faded. I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it on line again. This is my fifth Nourison area rug. I LOVE the other four! I only LIKE this one.

Great for outdoor porch
I just received the rug and I think it will hold up pretty well as long as it doesn't fade. I love the color and design. It goes well with my porch furniture and the bricks on the house.
